Sustainability Strategy
As a responsible company, Lalique Group is committed to safeguarding the interests of its employees, clients and partners and to protecting the environment. The Group takes this responsibility seriously and actively addresses challenges in the area of sustainability. To create the basis for its sustainability strategy, the Group has identified the most relevant issues and defined key areas of action.
The three pillars of our sustainability strategy are:
Products, manufacturing and sourcing
Lalique Group is committed to the sustainable creation and distribution of environmentally friendly products that can be used safely by consumers.
Community and employee commitments
Lalique Group strives to be an attractive and responsible employer for our people. The company focuses primarily on providing fair working conditions and to ensuring the health and safety of our employees as well as offering them training and development opportunities.
Environment and resources
Lalique Group strives to make efficient use of resources and we are mindful of the potential environmental impacts of our activities. The Group has also implemented strict recycling and waste disposal measures.
Group-wide commitment
Lalique Group’s Board of Directors and Group Executive Management are fully committed to promoting sustainable business practices throughout the company. Sustainability is therefore firmly enshrined in our corporate strategy. The disruption caused by the COVID-19 crisis delayed the implementation of certain sustainability projects. Further, it has not yet been possible to compile all the data required to establish a benchmark to determine future progress in the execution of our sustainability strategy. New long-term sustainability goals are being defined to reduce the environmental impacts of the Group’s activities and of our operations along our supply chains.
As part of the development of new products and processes, Lalique Group also tests out sustainable innovations with suppliers and other partners. In 2021, for example, the Group developed the fragrance Soleil Vibrant, which is made from socially responsible and sustainably sourced ingredients.
